On this tour we’ll take you into the mountains south of Hemavan where few people go and where it’s perfect to practice our navigational skills. We’ll teach you how to find your way when hiking off trail using a map and compass, how to safely cross mires, how to find animal tracks and how to start a fire in a safe and easy way with the use of natural materials. Our guide Andreas has extensive knowledge about off trail hiking and will share his lifelong experiences with you.
On this tour we’ll first hike for about an hour on an existing trail to eventually reach the wilderness area. This tour is suitable for anyone who can walk on uneven ground and off track for a full day without problems. It may include stream crossings.
