Physical requirements
We expect all of our guests to be in good physical condition. Each tour has its own duration and as a guideline we suggest that you will be able to walk for at least the mentioned duration on uneven paths and through mountainous terrain. No refunds are given in case of having to shorten a tour due to physical limitations.

Weather
Our tours will take place in any kind of weather. There’s reasonable chances of having rain on our tours as we’re located in Sweden’s western mountains. Therefore we suggest you bring rain gear and water proof boots as well as a hat, gloves and a buff or scarf. Rainy conditions are not a valid reason to cancel or reschedule a booked tour. If weather may seem dangerous (e.g. thunder storm) we will cancel and offer you a refund or rescheduling.

Flora and fauna sightings
Despite that we will take you to places that we know have a high success rate, note that we do not, in any circumstance, guarantee the sighting of wildlife and/or any specific flora. No refunds will be given if we do not see wildlife and/or specific flora.

Dietary requirements
On our tours we will either provide a hot drink with a Swedish snack or a hot lunch. Note that we can cater for vegetarians, please discuss any other dietary wishes with us before booking. You are required to notify us of any dietary allergies during the booking process.

Fire making
Most of our tours include fire making, either a freedom fire or cooking on a gas stove. This may cause sparks and/or damage to your gear and/or clothes. We cannot take liability for damage caused by fire to your gear and/or clothes.

Liability and insurance
Our experienced guides have had first aid training and can provide first aid in case needed. However, we suggest you have a travel insurance that covers mountain hiking and costs that may be made during or after evacuation.

Payments, cancellation and rescheduling
Please note that once we have confirmed a tour, we schedule the mentioned time for you exclusively. Before making a booking, make sure you are aware of the following cancellation policy:

– For our fire making tours we ask a 25% deposit at the time booking. You can cancel your tour up to one week in advance and receive a full refund. If you cancel within one week of your booked tour, we will not refund your deposit. The remaining balance should be made at least 24 hours days prior to the tour. After the full payment has been made, we will not make a refund in case of cancellation.

– For all our other tours we ask a 25% non refundable deposit. The remaining balance should be paid no later than 14 days prior to the tour and is non refundable after payment.

– For all tours that are booked within 14 days of arrival, we require immediate payment and no refund will be given in case of cancellation.

For all our tours we suggest you get cancellation insurance in case you need to cancel unexpectedly.

Cancellation needs to be done in writing by email via the email address we have sent the invoice from. No cancellations can be made by phone. If you wish to reschedule a tour, please contact us by email. Note that we may have very limited options in rescheduling your booked tour.
