Ski touring in Hemavan

Discover the freedom of heading out on touring skis, leaving the ski lifts and crowds behind as you venture deep into the vast, snow-covered landscapes of the Vindelfjällen mountains. Here, your own body is the only engine, and the only sounds are the rhythm of your skis gliding through the snow and the wind around you – with your local guide as your companion.

Your guide is Andreas, a biologist and experienced nature guide with a deep knowledge of the area. Along the way, he’ll share stories and insights about the unique landscape, wildlife and life in the mountains during winter.

Whether you’re an experienced skier or have never tried ski touring before, you’re welcome to join. New to touring skis? We’ll teach you the basics and help you get comfortable moving through the snow. Already have some experience? We can help you fine-tune your technique and take you further into the mountains.

Most importantly, there’s no fixed route. We adapt the tour to your experience, the weather and the conditions, so you can enjoy the mountains at your own pace.
